Training and Education Committee

• Organizes an annual one week or two week training course near the vicinity of the regional office in Beriut. The training sessions are targeted towards governmental decision makers, military personnel and members of the armed forces and police, lawyers, academics, journalists and NGOs
• Organizes or participates in local training and education programs held in the Arab countries targeting the local population needs.
• Organizes various lectures, conferences, workshops and seminars discussing human rights and humanitarian questions such as the refugees issues, anti-personnel mines, the environment etc.
• Organizes a Pan Arab conference that congregates Arab human rights specialists, lawyers and humanitarian experts, every 3 years, to discuss issues relating to the development of human rights and humanitarian laws and its doctrines in the Arab world. The findings and recommendations of the conference will constitute the working platform of the ACIHL.
